I know you're all probably fighting a hard Halloween hangover just like I am. I had such an amazing night last night at the Halloween party I threw, but man am I tired. It was amazing time together. Tyler and I dressed up as a pink lady and T-bird. It was fun to wear a matching costume and I hope we can continue to match our costumes. I was surprised at how well the whole thing turned out. I worked hard on decorations throughout the month and got them all up in time. I decorated with my wicked pumpkins (DIY here) As well as paper bats, it made for a cool backdrop for photos. We also used that horribly cheap spider webbing stuff to decorate the windows and bought a huge furry spider to sit in the corner of the windows. It was a cute decoration that added to the overall feel of the house. It was kind of crazy to take it all down at the end of the night. Now as I look around the apartment, it’s so empty. Guess I’ll have to find thanksgiving/fall decor. I also provided some awesome food for the party. While I’m not exactly the best cook, I think the food all turned out pretty dang well. I cooked up some chicken boo-dle soup. The noodles in the soup were supposed to be black, but mine turned a bit more purple. Other than that goof the soup turned out pretty well. I also served roasted pumpkin seeds, pizza and brown sugar. The pizza wasn’t my fave but the brown sugar was amazing. The eye ball oreos didn’t look so great but they tasted good! The deviled eggs were a huge hit and they tasted so good. It was my first time making deviled eggs and I’m pretty excited about it. The hot chocolate bar was so cute and was a fun addition to the party. I made the most AMAZING holiday drink. It was so awesome. It’s called something like pumpkin pie cider. I’m just calling it pumpkin cider. It was so so good. It’s just apple cider from a jug, cream soda, a can of pumpkin, and some apple slices. I also served it out of a pumpkin and that was an awesome holiday touch. It was really just so great that I might serve it again on Thanksgiving. This halloween party was a great hit and I really enjoyed throwing it. I am really loving that I am growing in my party throwing ability and have such great friends that want to come. The parties always turn out so fun and I’m getting better at preparing them. It’s been an awesome adventure and I can’t wait to see how the next party goes. *Kylie
