It’s the summer after our freshman year. Tyler and I had spent 4 months awkwardly experiencing our first relationship. Just 3 weeks after school ended Tyler and I were watching TV in the basement of my parent’s house. I felt like I had been waiting for years for Tyler to kiss me. Well on this lovely June day I could tell something was going to happen.
We were cuddled up on the couch “watching” a show. As I could feel the tension build, I got really nervous and began to shake. It was about the time I thought the couch would start shaking too that Tyler turned his face towards mine. He gave me the cutest smile and leaned in. It was a perfectly wonderful first kiss. We both let out a nervous little laugh and quickly secured our second kiss. Our first kiss isn’t my favorite story to tell. We were so young and awkward, but there isn’t anybody I would have rather shared my first kiss with. *Kylie *Go Pumpkin Picking

I was so excited to go to this event with my new hubby and to let go of my own lantern. Well Tyler and I almost didn't make it to the festival. Earlier that day Tyler had an accident at work where he sliced his finger with a pocket knife. We ended up taking a trip to the instant care and had to get it cleaned and wrapped back up. With that delay I was really worried we wouldn't make it to the festival, but we arrived with time to spare. The festival was very busy and there wasn't much room for us to set up our chairs. But we claimed a spot and went to explore the food trucks that were there. We ended up getting fries from this really yummy food stand. Not long after came the magical part. The lighting of the lanterns. They had tiki torches all around the grounds that you lined up to light your lantern with. It was busy so it took a while for our turn. The hosts then announced it was time to send off the lanterns. It was amazing to watch all these glowing lanterns take to the sky. It was such a beautiful experience and I hope to get to see it again. *Kylie
