Day 18 What's in my Stocking?
I thought it would be fun to share what my parents always filled my stocking with. Something that’s pretty unique is all the English candy I always get. My grandma grew up in England and we’ve had a lot of traditional English food around. For Christmas I would always get three specific candies in my stocking: a Flake bar, Crunchie bar, and Buttons. It’s something I always look forward to. In addition to those candies, I would always get a chocolate orange as well. Besides candy, my parents would always put a $10 itunes gift card in my stocking. While that not really a whole lot of things, they really mean alot to me and I’m glad I’ve had this type of informal tradition in my life. Day 16 Winter Bucket List
*Go Ice Skating *Visit Midway Ice Castles *Temple Square Lights *New Years Eve Party *Christmas Party *Starbucks Date *First Christmas as a Married Couple Tradition *Valentines Dinner somewhere New *Go Snowboarding (For the first time!) *Kiss Tyler at Midnight on New Years Eve *Bake lots of Treats *Go for a Drive to see Lights So excited to enjoy this winter season! Day 15 Christmas in Color Last night Tyler and I went and experienced the Christmas in Color. This is a cute event that took place at the equestrian park near us. They created a half a mile long drive through with amazing lights. Lots of tunnels and trees everywhere. To top it all off, it was scynorated to music playing on a radio station. I loved the light display and especially enjoyed driving through the tunnels. It was beautiful. |
