One day Tyler and I went out to the pet store to buy some fish for my new fish tank. I was so excited and ready to pick out some cool looking fish. Well once we arrived at the pet store, we found that the humane society was out doing an adoption special for kittens. Now guys cats are like my favorite! ❤️❤️❤️ I love them so much. To my surprise, Tyler suggested we look at them. Ha I basically ran over to the kittens. It was towards the end of the day so there was only like 4 kittens left, but that didn't matter. Once Tyler caught up I pointed out a set of white kittens and he was like why don't you hold one. Now I was shocked. Tyler knew very well that if I held one of these adorable fur balls, they were totally coming home with me. But Tyler insisted and I picked the cutest white kitten with stunning blue eyes. Just 5 minutes later I was adopting him. Half an hour later we left with a tiny kitten and all the supplies necessary. We got him home and settled and my oh my this cat can make some noise. Even still he is always meowing or purring. And boy it's loud! That night we spent hours deciding what to name him. We wanted a simple name, but also a fandom one. Eventually we decided on Binks (like JarJar Binks from Star Wars) This impulse buy has been one of these best ones I've ever made. Binks is super adorable and cuddly. So glad to have him as part of our tiny family. ❤️ *Kylie

Oh my goodness I had an amazing experience over the weekend. On Sunday I got to go to a photo studio to get some boudoir photos taken.
For those of you that don't know, boudoir photography is very sexy/risqué photos usually taken in lingerie or nude. Well I scheduled this session for my wedding because I plan to make a book out of the photos and give it to my groom. ❤️ On my way to the studio I had some pretty serious butterflies in my stomach. I was pretty nervous to strip down in front of this stranger and take photos. I brought my best friend who is also my maid of honor with me to try and be a little more comfortable. Her presence did help calm me down a little. The studio was beautiful! I loved the spacious feel with the most adorable couches and chairs and a bed covered in white sheets. There were so many windows that the natural light pouring in made the whole place look like a photograph. Maggie from Echo photography took the photos for me and she was amazing to work with. Not once did I feel uncomfortable. In fact I think it was the most confident I've felt in a long while. I decided to jump feet first into this photo shoot. So yes I did wear my super cute wedding lingerie, but I also stripped down for some photos. Man it was so much fun! If you've been debating booking a session do it NOW!! This experience was amazing! The rest of the day I loved loved loved the way I looked and I had a whole new level of respect for my body. It was such a confidence booster. I have to wait a whole two weeks to see my photos :( But I can't wait. Especially after this preview shot Maggie sent me. :O *Kylie I have always dreamed of having a garden. One that grows all sorts of vegetables and fruits. Now that I've moved out I am so excited to start my very own garden. I don't have a nice, big backyard (yet), but i’ve made my small (and very cute) balcony work. A few months ago I got some plants from Walmart and some small planters. I picked a tomato plant, a strawberry plant, and a brussel sprout plant. I also picked up a packet of wildflower seeds. And as a treat I got some succulents Armed with some gloves, lots of dirt, and my plants I got to work. Once the plants were settled in their new containers I found a sunny spot and there they sat for a month. With daily waterings, they soon grew too big for the small pots and had to be transferred to bigger ones. This was an event. I made a huge mess trying to safely pull them out of the old pots. Eventually I got them nestled in their new pots. (Although I think the move killed my strawberries :( ) I am so happy to see them grow. There is just something so satisfying knowing you're able to make something grow and flourish.
